Doug's AppleScripts for iTunes

Doug's AppleScripts for iTunes

While cleaning up my place today, I resurrected the old 5 GB iPod (I had neglected it after getting a new iPod late last year). I just downloaded the script to get rid of tracks from the iPod since there is some old stuff on there that I want to get rid of.

adding libraries to xcode projects

Just add the library to the project and Voila!
I made it harder than it actually was, looking all over various configuration panels to try and figure this out.

swinging again

Looks like I'm getting back into the swing of things. Need to balance out various of my life. Got to get back to training for a marathon. I'll make the marathon journal public (hopefully readers can help to provide motivation).

Been reading and working on personal projects more in the last week. Wonder why I have the sudden motivation for all this.

This is good stuff...

Six Log: Atom API Support in TypePad

Six Log: Atom API Support in TypePad

I've been meaning to play around with some of this stuff. Might be a nice little project to work on using the Cocoa libraries I've read up on.

Tinderbox

For a while I used Tinderbox for making a blog. But that didn't seem to work out for me so I'll stop doing that.

It had some really neat ideas but the implementation just seem clunky. If I ever became a researcher, it would be a really cool tool for recording my research notes though.

Posting more

Going to start trying to post more often.

Been busy

Lots of code writing lately, both personal and professional. Not much in the way of skiing for the last couple of weeks. The last time up I tried snowboarding for the very first time. Got my ass kicked thats all I can say.

If you like to read lots of technical books like me, you might want to check out Safari. For a monthly fee, they let you read books online. They also give you tokens good for downloading chapters of books.
